Outsourcing And Delegating Your Way To Client Attraction You Can’t… Do It Alone

Become a client attraction magnet by delegating to multiply your efforts and increase your income. Most small business owners don’t start with a team because they think they have to do it all, there is not enough money to hire anyone. But the reality is you’re losing money if you don’t hire someone to help. What you see very quickly is that you can only do so much.

You may be able to do it all but you will limit the time you’ll be able to spend on the income producing activities of your business. Think about it, if you pay someone $15.00 an hour to help with keeping up your home that could easily be offset by $150.00 per hour or even much more you could be earning by coaching or doing a teleseminar, or networking with a master networker who can give you a ton of leads.

Now be smart and savvy about your help. You may be thinking I can do these things myself. But you need to focus on the things you love (spending quality time with your family and friends)and the things that are going to make you money: (1) client work, product sales or services and (2) marketing to bring in more clients.

So how do you find help? Here’s a few tips:

What Types of Tasks Do They Do?: Again, a willing Virtual Assistant (VA) can be trained to perform tasks in the way you specify, but do look for virtual assistants with experience working with online business owners and who has some understanding of their needs. What Are Their Rates?: Rates vary with virtual assistants. Some may charge per project, while others may charge per project. If you plan on working with a VA on an ongoing basis (as you should), an hourly agreement simplifies the process. Ask if there are any discounts available if you keep your VA on retainer.

Test Them Out Before Agreeing to a Retainer: Ideally, you do want to work with a VA on an ongoing basis, but be sure you are a good fit before doing so. Give him/her a few projects and make sure he/she responds in a timely manner, takes direction well, clarifies any details that need clarifying and complete projects on time.

Be beware of is virtual assistants who do VA work on the side while trying to build another type of business of their own. That is where you run into trouble with consistency, meeting deadlines, etc. You want to find a VA that is committed to providing support to your business, not someone who is trying to pay the bills in the meantime.

Check References: Because your virtual assistant will have access to so much personal and business information, it’s important to check on any references provided. You should also search on Google for any reviews of their service.

Client Attraction Tip:  Take the edge off the decision by offering a guarantee

I would love to hear your best tip for finding a VA.  What do you delegate religiously?

Attract More Clients By Mastering Your Self Talk

I’ve purchased and read dozens and dozens of books over the past 5 years. From Think and Grow Rich, to The Science of Getting Rich. And they all great books. Telling you great philosophies about life but the one thing I found was missing was the step by step instructions.

The one thing that was clear to me is you create your own reality by your thoughts. It’s not as easy to change your thoughts as you may think. And more importantly knowing how to make the techniques “stick.”

As countless researchers have discovered. The brain is like a computer. In fact, it’s more powerful then any computer that has been built. About two years ago I read a little book by Dr Shad Helmstetter. “What To Say When You talk to Your Self.” Reading the book the first time it seemed too easy to be true. But the truth of the matter is you can reprogram your brain. If Dr Helmstetter is right, then all the words we say to our self makes us who we are and is the secret to changing to who you want to be.

It seems that the human mind is not capable of not thinking at least on a subconscious level. At about 55000 thoughts per day one has to admit we spend an inordinate amount of time thinking. But that is what makes us human.

With all the negative input that we receive from our parents, teachers, peers, television our brain must receive a lot of positive input to overcome the negative. Our parents didn’t know any better. Grandparent believed spare the rod spoil the child. But nothing is as bad as not hearing positive feedback as a child. If all you hear is how awful you are or clumsy you are or bad you are, well guess what ladies and gents, that’s what you will believe. After all you’re being told this by the important people in your life. So we’ve been repeatedly told the wrong things about our life and who we are.

Scientist can prove your brain can retain everything it’s ever seen or heard even if you don’t have conscious access to the information. Every sight, every experience, every uttering every input you have ever had is still there.

These memories create a self fulfilling prophecy. Think back, some of the negative verbal input is still operating in your life today. Negative self talk hangs in the background all day whispering in your ear, “I’m not good enough, . I can’t lose weight, I’m not organized.”

The only process that works to make permanent change is repetition. Whatever the brain hears over and over again it will eventually believe. You are getting brainwashed and the most powerful brainwasher is you. The key to success is repetition. If you listen to enough good input your brain will have no choice but to believe. It will begin to believe those good thoughts and eventually lead to a good life.

Client Attraction Tip: Make your clients feel special

I would be curious to hear your experience around self talk. What’s your biggest challenge or win with self talk?

Attract Clients With A Winning Attitude

Most people thing attracting clients is mostly about the techniques. But there is a much more important technique available to everyone that most people don’t even think about. Your attitude can make or break you both personally and financially. It’s indisputable that your attitude determines how far you’ll go in life and a positive mental outlook can help you achieve optimal success.

A positive mental attitude helps you cope with challenges. It will give you inner strength to overcome adversity. Whether or not you have the tools, skills, knowledge, or resources, your attitude can get you through tough times.

An attitude filled with negative overtones makes everything much harder. You can’t win when you go into the contest prepared to lose! If you expect to do well, your attitude will create positive, winning thoughts that help you succeed.

Cause and Effect

In life every effect creates a specific cause. With positive thoughts, we can gain control these causes and change the outcome.

• To change your future, you must first alter your present thoughts.

For every positive seed you plant, your thoughts will grow and reward you with a positive harvest. You can’t plant negative seeds in your mind and expect positive results. It just doesn’t work that way.

A defining difference between people who are successful and those who aren’t is the way they think. Successful people visualize their goals and take action to make them happen. You want more clients visualize having more.

Practice Makes Perfect

If you hone your positive thinking skills and develop the mental attitudes of a winner, you’ll be able to overcome challenges without giving up. No matter how discouraging things may get or how intently others may try to dissuade you, with your winning attitude, you will be unstoppable!

A positive outlook enables you to focus on your goals with a tunnel vision that eliminates negative distractions and keeps you on a chartered course to success.

• Train your mind to focus on the good. Develop a positive mantra or affirmation to help you overlook the negative and realize the power of optimism.

Train Your Mind

We often worry about our physical fitness, but do we think much about the fitness of our minds? Just as we train our bodies for peak performance, we must also train our minds by coaching ourselves to think winning thoughts.

An effective way to train your mind is to look at challenges as opportunities instead of obstacles. A problem is only a problem if you allow it to be one. With each challenge comes an opportunity to learn and improve. So if you search for solutions, you’ll find them.

When you internalize this mindset, you’re sure to develop a winning attitude for a lifetime and reap the rewards of true success and happiness.

Attracting Ideal Clients by Getting Niche Specific

Find a niche product or service you are passionate about something  you truly believe in.

This will greatly improve your chances of being successful. Why? Because it’s the only way you’re going to be able to devote the kind of time and effort to create a meaningful

web site, build up the right traffic, generate worthwhile income, and enjoy what you’re doing.

Choose a niche you are knowledgeable  about.  Reflect on what skills, hobbies or products you know the most about. If you don’t have the knowledge yet, then choose something you would love to promote, then spend the necessary time to research it, so you can eventually become an expert.

When others are busy bumping into each other and chasing after the whole world, you’re got a private party going on.  Niching is more efficient.  Instead of trying to say on top of a variety of needs and issues you’re able to save your energy and master a few topics that are interested to a well defined group of people.

Create Your Own Unique Selling Position.

Study your competition to find out what they emphasize about the product which makes them stand out from the crowd. Then decide on something that will make your business unique from the others.

Your Next Step:

Finding Your passion

  1. What has life taught you about living up to your full potential?
  2. What kinds of tasks do you enjoy so much that you lose track of time?
  3. What are you especially good at.
  4. List 3 important changes you would like to contribute to.

Attending Events Can Boost Your Business

Attending events are great for any  business. It can change the course of your life. Everyone is gung ho about social networking these days. Social sites are bursting at the seams with members who reconnect with friends and learn to connect with business colleagues.

What’s a Live Event?

Well, like the name implies, a live event is a gathering of professionals in your field of interest or business in general. They are held all over the world and sometimes, if you’re lucky,  even in your own back yard. People, like to share what they know lend their time and talent to others who are interested in growing their business or expanding in their field of expertise.

Live events are usually hosted by companies or individuals who want to share their knowledge with others. The speakers are a list of “Who’s Who” in the online business world – everyone from bloggers to marketing gurus to life coaches or well known experts in their field. And, you can gain remarkable experience by getting to know them and interacting with them on a face-to-face basis.

Benefits of Attending

There are many reasons to attend a live event.  You are given carte blanche to explore your future plans, chart a new course for your business and have fun doing both.

  1. Get out of your comfort zone. Many wouldn’t call this a plus, but how can your business grow doing the same thing over and over again? For one, you’ll get bored. If you are used to seeing people through their words, now you can put a name to a face and so can they. Stretch your business self with interesting people and thought-provoking seminars.  Well known speakers use live events to share their  “secrets” with the attendees.
  2. Meet people with similar goals. It is refreshing to hold a conversation with someone who understands where you are coming from. If you are new to business, even the experts can remember back and give you practical advice on how to go from where you are to where they are and beyond.
  3. Begin a few joint ventures. Businesses partner with other businesses all the time. If you each have something that can benefit the other, it can be a match made in heaven or at least in cyberspace. But, you may not get the chance unless you attend a live event. When you get to see and hear their plans, you can make a confident decision that this person will be great to work with. When potential partners meet you it quickly builds the know, like, trust factor.
  4. Build your business. Oh, yeah, there is this one. There will be people from all walks of life with the same goal – grow their business. You will get business cards, photo and these days video opportunities, business materials, not to mention  possibly drinks by the pool with others who are more than willing to talk with you about how to take your business to the next level.

Never been to a live event? Now you have four (of many) dynamite reasons that it needs to be on your “To Do” list.
